65-Ton Trailer Tipper

Overview

Entro's 65-Ton Trailer Tipper is engineered specifically for the demanding North American refuse handling industry. Designed to safely and efficiently dump trailers up to 65 tons, this machine is built on a philosophy that prioritizes safety, structural reliability, and honest maintenance access. We collaborated with operators and service partners to build a tipper that solves real-world problems, featuring fabricated box beams for superior deck stiffness and an optional rotating backstop that moves completely out of the debris flow.

Built for the Landfill Environment

This entire system is engineered for harsh landfill environments. The hydraulic power unit (HPU) is protected by a crash frame and a rain roof. To maximize uptime and simplify service, we mounted the auxiliary function valves directly to the main frame, eliminating extra plumbing and potential leaks. We used enhanced straight frames and strong diagonal bracing to handle the 65-ton capacity day in and day out.

Safety and Visibility

We placed the operator's cab forward of the trailer, giving the operator maximum visibility and keeping them out of harm's way. The cab is 30% larger than industry standards, featuring dual egress and greenhouse-style windows. For stability, the middle outriggers are placed forward of the trailer's center of gravity. We also included broken hose protection on all outriggers—a standard safety feature on mobile cranes that prevents catastrophic failure if a line blows.

Maintenance and Support

The design includes an integral deck support stand and a front outrigger design that makes maintenance safer and easier. Autofloat ramp controls are included to protect cylinders from overload. Crucially, we source all cylinders and critical components in North America. Combined with a North American-wide network for sales and service, you won't be stuck waiting on parts from overseas when you have work to do.

Technical Specifications

The tipper features a 62-degree tipping angle with a deck approach under 4 degrees. Standard power is provided by a CAT C4.4 Diesel engine with a 400-gallon hydraulic oil tank and 100-gallon fuel tank. Controls are electric over hydraulic from the cab. Options include hydraulic outriggers, electric HPU, HVAC, lighting, steel wheels, and dust/odor control systems.
