July 2014 – Entro Industries leading fabrication partner earns coveted american petroleum institute’s 4f monogram

HILLSBORO, Ore. – July 15, 2014 – Engineering and manufacturing specialists, Entro Industries, today announced that their leading fabrication partner, Western Fabrication of Kelso, Wash., has joined an small group of only 49 firms in the U.S. possess the coveted API 4F designation.

Since 2010, Entro has worked closely with Western Fabrication to become the world’s premier supplier of walking systems and rig moving machinery to the oil and gas industry. Together Entro and Western Fabrication offer a broad range of solutions and services including walking systems, suspensions and wheel systems, drilling rig design, custom fabrication and repairs.

Western Fabrication earned the 4F Monogram designation after completing a series of stringent facility inspections and quality management system audits. The new certifications will allow Entro with the help of Western Fabrication to construct oil drilling substructures and walking systems in accordance with API Q1 and 4F standards and apply API monograms to those systems as required.

With more than 600 members, the API is the only national trade association representing all facets of the oil and natural gas industry. The API certifications are among the most sought after industrial standards that promote the use of safe equipment and sound engineering and operating practices.
