Competitor's Walker Refurb
Entro refurbishes competitor's equipment
A client had a competitor’s walking system that was installed and operating on a rig. The rig was eventually decommissioned. The stomper assemblies were returned to Entro for refurbishment and installation into another machine. First, the structural connection parts were removed from the walking system machinery. The machinery was disassembled, cleaned, and evaluated for proper operation. The Entro engineering group evaluated the suitability of equipment for use in a new rig in the clients inventory and designed new jack support structures and connections to the rig. New control consoles with wireless remote control were built to work with the machinery. The machinery was then repainted and reassembled, ready to be used again.
